Editorial Note
I took this article down.
The reason is simple: while reviewing feedback from the Quarkus engineering team, I found that parts of it were not accurate enough to keep online in good conscience. The biggest problem was not broken code or obvious mistakes. It was a handful of plausible but wrong answers, which is worse in a technical article because readers can easily repeat them as if they were correct.
That is on me.
I use The Main Thread to explore not only Java and Quarkus topics, but also how far AI-assisted workflows can be pushed in teaching and publishing technical content. This post was a good reminder that speed, structure, and working code are still not enough if the explanations themselves drift away from reality.
So instead of quietly patching this article, I chose to keep it offline.
I am replacing it with a new piece about what happened and, more importantly, how I now think about grounding AI-infused IDEs and writing workflows so they stay tied to current documentation, runnable code, and project-specific guardrails.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to call out issues directly. That feedback helped.
